Residents of Montréal Island and Laval now have access to a brand-new, free doorstep pickup service for end-of-life cooling appliances. The timing couldn’t be better—just in time for moving season, when many are eager to part ways with their outdated appliances.
This new service is complementary to the already-existing options offered by retailers—who provide pickup with the purchase of a new appliance—and through a network of nearly 400 drop-off locations across the province.

How to request a pickup:
- Fill out the form and choose your preferred pickup date
- Prepare your appliance following GoRecycle’s instructions
- Place it outside, on your property — not at the curb.
- A GoRecycle partner will come by on the scheduled day to pick up your appliance.
