Who We Are

GoRecycle is the only organization recognized by RECYC-QUÉBEC to ensure the responsible recovery and recycling of residential refrigeration and air conditioning appliances across Quebec.
We are present at nearly 700 collection locations, including close to 400 public drop-off points across the province.

1

Mission

Mobilize all stakeholders in Quebec to reclaim cooling appliances responsibly.

How?
  • By making collection services accessible to citizens.
  • By raising awareness and educating the public.
  • By setting obligations and practices for recycling and reuse.
2

Ambition

Have a significant impact on the fight against climate change and on waste reduction.

Why?
  • Because every time an appliance is recycled, we prevent GHG and waste from being released into the environment.
  • Because every time a stakeholder is educated on the issue, we gain another ambassador.
3

Values

Optimism
We provide solutions and bring positive change.

Integrity
We are thorough and fair in all that we do.

Proactivity
We lead by example.

Well supported

Our partners recycle cooling appliances and also destroy the dangerous gases. With their state-of-the-art technology, they valorize over 95% of the appliance’s materials, and all appliances are recycled right here in Quebec.
