Each year, the GoRecycle Awards recognize concrete actions in recycling. The categories are designed to reflect the realities of members and partners, and to highlight those who turn their commitment into tangible results on the ground.

Alongside the announcement of the 2026 GoRecycle Award winners, an award tour was organized to meet partners across Quebec.

We went out to meet our partners in the field and saw teams who are proud of their work and aware of the importance of what they do. For us, it was a powerful moment to see just how mobilized our partners are.

2026 Award Winners

The winners of the 2026 GoRecycle Awards were announced on March 25. In total, 13 organizations were recognized for their commitment and for the real, on-the-ground results they achieve in recovering cooling appliances.

Meeting award winners across Quebec

As part of the award tour, all winners were visited across Quebec, regardless of their category.

From Montreal to the Capitale-Nationale, and through Monteregie, Centre-du-Quebec and Bas-Saint-Laurent, the tour made stops in several regions. Each visit was an opportunity to recognize the work being done and the commitment shown by organizations in their communities.

Awards were presented in person to each winner. It was also an opportunity to take time with local teams, recognize their contributions more personally, and get a closer look at the work being done every day to improve the recovery of cooling appliances.

Beyond the results, these visits highlighted the effort behind them, the day-to-day work that often goes unseen, but makes a real difference.

About GoRecycle

GoRecycle is the only organization recognized by RECYC-QUÉBEC that ensures the responsible recycling of cooling appliances in Quebec. We recycle refrigerators, air conditioners, freezers, wine coolers, dehumidifiers and water coolers through nearly 400 drop-off points in Quebec, and over 100 banner pickup partners with the purchase of a new fridge. GoRecycle is a non-profit organization (NPO).
